Livia Avianus, born 1999 in Berlin is an artist based between Paris and Berlin.

In her work, she explore how “polyphonic seeing” , perceiving through multiple parallel, non-hierarchizable perspectives and image logics, can be artistically modeled.
The subjects and motifs depicted in my her work are borrowed from the fashion and advertising industries and reflect how representations of the female and non-binary body become sites of power negotiation. Through displacement and deliberate transformation, she attempts to alter perception and meaning and to undermine habitual ways of seeing.
